New old imagery

I got around to editing some more work from the set I shot with Soma & Iona back in 2007, last seen in this post:

This new one's called "Winterborn." The title comes from a song by Crüxshadows:
"Within this moment now
I am for you, though better men have failed
I will give my life for love
For I am Winter born

In other news, cambler has said he's going to help me get my site in workable order, YAY! Finally. So hopefully that'll happen soon.

New old stuff

So, I have been INCREDIBLY lax with my journal.
I've been shooting & editing a lot of photos, and have a bunch of projects on the kettle, with more to come.
I'm going to try to be better about updating.

To explain the post title, this image is from a set I shot in September 2006 with Soma Stardust & Iona Lynn while I was in California.
I had a specific concept and I've not been able to finish it due to a lack of technical expertise.

So I was revisiting it earlier and playing with some new techniques & came up with
Persephone Emergent


This was shot at Sam MacDonald park, Soma is standing inside a giant redwood tree that was struck by lightning and had its insides burned out. There's a perfect "room" inside.

I'm REALLY happy with how it turned out. :-D
